Job Description
In a bid to improve the standards of the engineering team, we seek for skills and the zeal to work as part of our reputable and innovative team thereby maintaining it as one of the largest and youngest fleets in Europe. The fleet are over 250 Airbus aircraft operating 1600 sectors a day.
You will be responsible for assisting in the departure process of any aircraft that may be preparing for departure at handover times ad carry out full, comprehensive handover.
Responsibilities:
- Record and issue certificates of release to service for the work accomplished and review the work and resources allocated and required to ensure expedient rectification of defects.
- Accountable for advising the Station Manager of any impending service disruptions, or areas of concern that may have an impact on the operating programme
- State clearly the priorities to the team, ensuring that efficient use of resources is channeled to an ‘on time’ and safe flight departure.
- Always ensure that all documentation and its certification are completed in a timely manner and to the defined procedures in order to meet Company and Customer Procedures and legislation.
- Compile and report of Technical Delay/Out of Service Reports. Recording significant defects, discrepancies, incidents and events.
Skills and Experience:
- You must hold EASA Part 66 B1 license and authorization or equivalent on company aircraft.
- You should be able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of applicable airworthiness legislation.
- You should have operational experience in a line maintenance environment.
- You should have proven ability to communicate issues to management.
- You must have a high degree of customer focus – both internal and external.
- You must be able to work effectively in a team, as well as independently, in all levels of the organization.
- You must be flexible in order to meet deadlines and overcome operational problems and demonstrate a working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
- You must be proficient in IT
Please note that this role involves working on a roster pattern of permanent night shifts.
