JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking for an individual with experience in flight dispatch and operations to join our reputable team.


REQUIREMENTS
  1. To oversee the setup, flight watch and safe completion of the companies flying programme by running supervision of the shift team, ensuring all operations tasks are fulfilled.
  2.  Reading FIR/Enroute and Station Notams in the preparation and final dispatch stage of flight planning and acting accordingly should they affect.
  3. Arranging additional insurance coverage for aircraft operating into and out of places/countries on coverage exclusion lists and have UN sanctions against them.
  4. Coordinating with personal aids / points of contact regarding scheduling both current and future as well updating them live.
  5. Coordinating with internal and external charter departments/brokers regarding flights.
  6. Maintaining watch of worldwide traffic flow and planning accordingly.
  7. Updating crew of slots that may be incurred due to European Central flow management.
  8.  Coordinating with internal and external maintenance companies and scheduling accordingly.
  9. Weather monitoring
  10. Geopolitics and security monitoring
  11. Arranging crew hotels and flights accordingly.
  12. Crew Pre briefings
  13. Client flight confirmations 
  14. Global IFR/VFR, short range and ultra-long rage EROPS / ETOPS flight planning in compliance with multiple worldwide AOC's, flight safety and flight planning laws.
  15. Ensuring fire categories and other safety/insurance requirements are met.
  16. Crew Scheduling and Safeguarding compliance with stipulated rules of various AOC's.
  17. Coordinating airport slots and prior permissions.
  18. Arranging handling/fuel/helicopter/VIP and additional lavatory, water, towing, GPU, ASU equipment for the aircraft as necessary.
  19. Arranging over flight/landing permissions globally.
  20. Managing passenger details and arranging customs and immigration services as required for example EAPIS and GAR forms.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

    Breadth of experience of working in a Dispatch department
    Complete knowledge of regulations and requirements.
    A highly process driven approach to problem solving.
    Excellent interpersonal skills.
    Proven record as a ‘Team Player’.
    Willingness to work to objectives set by the Head of Dispatch and/or Post Holders Ground Ops particularly with regard to compliance with the approved Fight Dispatch Manual.

Working hours:
12.5 hour shifts (including hour unpaid lunch) 4 on 4 off rotation.
