JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re now looking for an Avionics Mechanic to perform defect rectification and routine servicing on our extensive & growing fleet, ensuring all work requiring a Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) is completed as required by MOE, EASA and NAA regulations.


You’ll perform aircraft maintenance tasks and work closely with our certified engineers, reporting any defects or conditions considered to represent a safety risk to the Shift Supervisor / Station Manager.
Working with other teams to ensure thorough handovers of partially completed tasks and ensuring that all facilities, tools and equipment are satisfactory for the tasks required and all relevant documentation is completed will also be important in this role.

REQUIREMENTS
You must have a high degree of customer focus, both internal and external.
You must be updated with the knowledge of applicable airworthiness legislation.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation
Demonstrate technical knowledge of aircraft and hand skills required to carry out tasks
Demonstrate skills required to perform aircraft skin repairs
Ability to use aircraft maintenance documentation and computer based reporting and recording systems
Ideally hold a time served apprenticeship and operational experience in maintenance environment
Able to work effectively in a team in all levels of the organisation
Willingness to be flexible to meet deadlines and overcome operational problems
